LBTC's leadership and management training courses are divided into three broad categories: Leadership; Management Skills Development; and Change Management.
These courses are suitable for: leaders of organisations with the responsibility to steer their firms in times of change, whilst motivating and inspiring their teams; and team members who wish to know of the principles and practice of strategic leadership to support and complement the contribution of their leaders.
The Management Skills Development courses are targeted at: those who wish to develop their interpersonal, personal, group and communication skills; and those who wish to develop themselves as more competent and effective managers. These courses cover the following topics: building relationships by communicating supportively; gaining power and influence; motivating others; managing conflict; empowering and engaging others; developing self-awareness; managing stress and well-being; solving problems analytically and creatively; building effective teams and teamwork; leading positive change; conducting interviews; making oral and written presentations; and conducting meetings.
These courses will help you understand: diagnosing change involves and requires systematic effort, and needs to gain acceptance enough to make implementation feasible; how to manage the process of changing an organisation; the underlying ‘building blocks’ of successful change; two practical ways of organising the application of change management in your organisation; developing a more open process for managing change will create the conditions for learning; organisational performance can be explained by looking at corporate culture; a new model for strategic change that seeks to develop the concept of change architecture into a practical model for change management; and market mechanisms have a role to play in creating more innovative and adaptable organisations.
